Interior Design
Hetherwick-Hutcheson Design welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with you on your project whether it is a single room, series of rooms or a completely newly constructed house. We work on an hourly basis and provide you with a fee proposal and a complimentary 1 hr initial meeting. Using our talented and trustworthy vendors & contractors along with your input, we can create your custom project. We pass along our designer discounts where we are able to.

Space Planning
Utilizing the measurements from your existing space, we walk you through your layout options on a scaled floor plan showing you our recommendations for the best use of your space. There is always more than one option and you will have the ability to choose your favorite layout. Sometimes it means a few tweaks to the structure and sometimes it calls for a complete gut.

Furniture Selections & Placement
Whether from local shops or custom designed & ordered from the SF Design Center, we will help you find the perfect fit and the perfect spot to put it in. A master furniture floor plan shows you how everything will fit together and allows you to order over time or all at once.

Finish & Material Selections
Most people have trouble when it’s time to put the whole palette of finishes together and are concerned about investing a lot of money into a final product they might not like. With our ability to see the whole completed picture ahead of time, we can help you avoid costly mistakes. We have sources for granite, marble, tile, cabinetry, and wood.

Color Consultation
Getting exactly the right color can tricky depending on your natural and artificial light sources. Taking into account the details of the project, we will provide you with several color swatches on the walls to help you visualize the end result. A 3 hr minimum charge applies.

Room Refresher
Sometimes a room has great bones and you have a few good pieces that you'd like to breathe a little new life into. Allow our fresh set of eyes to see your space in a whole new way. We re-arrange, and add designer touches to things you have and infuse a few new things to transform your space. A 10 hr minimum applies to this service.
